Yaiza Varela Fernández

Yaiza Varela is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Sphingolipids and Membrane Domains Laboratory, interested in autophagy. Her research focuses on the role of ceramide-induced macroautophagy in cell survival. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and a PhD in same University.
