Anna Shnyrova is a Ramon y Cajal researcher interested in the remodeling of cellular membranes. Anna has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Salamanca. She completed her PhD at the National Institutes of Health (USA) before moving back to Spain in 2009. She was a recipient of the Young Researcher Award of the Spanish Biophysical Society in 2013 and the UNESCO-L'Oreal for Women in Science grant in 2016. Her research work has received funding from The Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, the Basque Government, and was published in Nature, Science., and other prestigious journals.
