Ana Rosa Viguera

Ana Rosa Viguera received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and did her PhD at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL, Germany). Since 2000, she is a CSIC staff scientist working in Instituto Biofisika (CSIC, UPV-EHU). Ana Rosa is interested in the membrane protein folding and, in particular, in the molecular interactions within lipidic phases. Her research has been published in the established journals like Biophysical Journal and Biochimica et Biophysica Acta.
